JG Thirlwell and Fred Bigot release collaborative vinyl EP

French art/music label Optical Sound has released the long-awaited duo project of JG Thirlwell and Fred Bigot, named Hydroze Plus. Thirwell, better known as Foetus, is a producer, remixer, and performer whose work spans 25 years and who is soundtrack composer for The Venture Brothers on Cartoon Network.

Though Thirlwell has written for instruments of all varieties, here his contributions consist of vocals and lyrics.  Bigot, also known as Electronicat, is credited here for instruments and music.

The EP is clear, ten-inch vinyl with packaging designed by Thirwell. The EP’s several transparent layers were made to look like an anatomical text book. It’s a limited release only available through Optical Sound, though it will soon be available digitally through Ectopic Ents.
