“Weapons For War” is the lead single from Chicago-based rock quintet A Lull‘s debut full-length, Confetti. Textured, ambient squeals give way to the track’s driving, pitter-patter beat and some “rat-a-tat-tat” scatting from vocalist Nigel Evan Dennis. As it progresses, sonic intensity fluctuates rapidly, and the aforementioned percussion and vocals transition into a more dense, post-rock-style ambience.

On the single, released this week on Mush, the original is paired with three remixes, from the likes of Spirituals, Houses, and Melting Season.
