DC-based drummer/producer Congo Sanchez (Thievery Corporation, See-I) is making his solo debut with Vol. 1, due out April 17 via ESL Music.

He’s already made waves across the DC scene with his distinctive Afro-Latin beats and funky dub vibes, which you can hear accompanied by footage of Sector 9 skaters and surfers in his new video for “Ghost Dance.” Check it out below.
