Nader Sadek: “Of This Flesh” (live)

If you remember correctly, back when Nader Sadek released his Living Flesh album, we mentioned that one very special edition released in the future would come with a piece of Sadek’s flesh turned into leather.

Well, the future is April 22, 2013.

Sadek has announced an opening at Santos Party House in NYC on April 22 from 6 to 8 PM. The event will include a film screening of the “extraction process” and an exhibition that, along with the leather-fronted LP, will feature other works in Sadek’s petroleum-inspired series. Check out a photo below.

Sadek is also featured in the White Petals Surround with Your Yellow Heart exhibit running through July 28 at the Philadelphia Institute of Contemporary Art. It includes masks he designed for Attila Csihar of Mayhem and Sunn O))).
