Hip helmet: A hand-painted job courtesy of Corpses from Hell

After ripping around the Peak District National Park, Maxwell Paternoster — designer and illustrator behind the motorcycle club Corpses from Hell — sat down in a London diner to adorn Ruby’s Castel helmet with his acid-trip vision.

Paternoster, who made a name for himself by releasing limited-edition prints and T-shirts under the CFH title, teamed up with the Parisian helmet company that’s known for mixing fashion expertise with modern technology. Armed with 1 Shot paint, yellow gold leaf, and white gold leaf, Paternoster sketched and applied his bad-trip vibes of melting greasers, circuitry, and zombie hands in his signature fashion to the Ruby’s newest helmet style, creating one of the coolest ways to protect your skull.

Watch Paternoster’s process in the video below, and pick up something awesome from the CFH webstore.
