Wax Fang: The Blonde Leading the Blonde single (Don’t Panic, 4/30/13)

Wax Fang is a bit upset about the state of music. Opening their new single with the words “It’s not what you do; it’s who you know,” Scott Carney and Jacob Heustis move into a rollicking critique of an industry working as a factory to pump out musical cash cows.

The band’s pure rock riffs and sing-along “ohs” make “The Blonde Leading the Blonde” a tongue-lashing you can dance to. Check it out below, and keep an ear out for the band’s (musical) appearance on an upcoming American Dad episode, “Lost in Space,” set to air May 5. The band is currently back in the studio, working on its next album, The Astronaut.
