Black Mountain to Perform at All Tomorrow’s Parties

blackmountain1.jpgThere are good things in store for international Black Mountain fans. Since the band’s esteemed 2006 invitation to the UK’s All Tomorrow’s Parties music festival in Minehead, Somerset, the psych-rockers have agreed to return to the 2007 festival next month.

The news comes in anticipation of their second full-length album on Jagjaguwar Records, due January 21. Since Black Mountain’s debut EP, Druganaut, in 2004, the group has experienced international acclaim for its indie psychedelic rock sound, and the songs keep on coming.

But before the release of In the Future, the sophomore full-length, the Canadian five-piece has a full European touring schedule planned for the remainder of November and December. The tour ends with the ATP show on December 12 and comes in advance of more global touring in 2008. The scheduled tour promises to adequately preview In the Future.
