Have you ever wanted to play guitar alongside Gene Simmons, albeit in a sort of virtual reenactment? One of five Guitar Hero II fanatics will have that opportunity on Wednesday, April 11, when all will take part in a JamFest as the game is launched for Xbox 360.
The competition will take place at the Virgin Megastore at 1540 Broadway in New York City from 12:30 – 2:30 pm ET. The five tournament-seasoned players, comprised of three guys and two girls, will face off for the right to play KISS favorite “Strutter” with Simmons.
The track is featured on Guitar Hero II, which also contains readily available and unlockable tunes from Nirvana, Primus, Rage Against the Machine, Reverend Horton Heat, Rush, Dick Dale, Lamb of God, Every Time I Die, and scores more.
In addition to containing improved HD graphics and exclusive, downloadable tracks via Xbox Live, the Xbox 360 edition has a number of tunes unavailable on the previously released versions.
Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 can now be purchased at many major retail outlets.
