The show, entitled (I can’t get no) SOPHISTICATION, will consist of the artist’s drawings, sculptures, and installed objects. In the past, Ogg has included site-specific canvases in several of his shows, often snaking canvases along the more interesting angles of a gallery’s interior.
During the opening, hand-printed posters of Ogg‘s work will be available along with “Adverse Possession,” an essay by fellow School of the Art Institute alumnus Anna Mayer. The opening, which doubles as a reception for the artist, takes place August 25 from 5-8 pm.
