Jason Webley Tours North America in a Tomato

Jason Webley Do you like accordion music? Theatrics? A vocal delivery reminiscent of both Tom Waits and Andy Kaufman? General debauchery and unruliness? Outkast covers? If you’re in North America this summer, you’ve got the chance to see all these things rolled into one. That’s right — Jason Webley is on tour.

Seattle’s former busker is back in his converted Toyota Corolla tomato car, bringing his gypsy-inspired punk folk to venues around North America. Webley‘s raucous vocals accompanied by accordion, guitar, and piano regularly inspire audience sing-alongs and the stomping of numerous feet.

You can catch Webley and his antics from now until August 24, and then you’ll get a second chance to see him on the Monsters of Accordian 2007 tour, where he’ll be joined by Corn Mo, Duckmandu, and Geoff Berner.
