Tommy Shaw (shown left), guitarist and singer for ’70s arena rockers Styx, is going green on tour for 2007-2008 stints with his famous group as well as side project Shaw/Blades. Biodiesel and logistics will be provided by innovative company BidForGreen.
The exciting new project, mentioned by Shaw in a recent blog about BidForGreen, makes it easy for biodiesel fuel providers to create accounts with interested users. Obtaining fuel is made easier and more efficient with personal deliveries, while the environment soaks up its own advantages from the BidForGreen initiative.
Shaw’s tour bus joins that of Willie Nelson, Pat Matheny, and Merle Haggard in a partnership with BidForGreen.
