Officials for Milwaukee’s Summerfest, an 11-day music festival celebrating its fortieth anniversary, confirmed on Wednesday that prog rock masters Tool would headline its July 4 date at the Marcus Amphitheatre.
The band, which begins a lengthy U.S. tour this Friday, April 27, released its last album, 10,000 Days, in May of 2006. Tool’s tour extends through May and June and half of July.
