Vocalists of Converge, Integrity Form Irons with Stephen Kasner

So you need a fix for some “apocalyptic, non-linear” music? Well, you’re in luck. Irons is a three-way collaboration that brings together two of the most powerful vocalists that hardcore has to offer: Converge’s Jake Bannon and Integrity’s Dwid Hellion. Experimental visual and aural artist Stephen Kasner rounds out the trio.

The three are currently working on their debut album for Deathwish, which they plan to release sometime in 2008. From the description, fans of each band should expect a completely different beast, one that promises to focus from a “primal, fine-art-based mindset.”

While they hammer away at the album, all three men are staying busy. Bannon has a solo record in the works as Converge continues to tour and write; Hellion is working on material for Roses Never Fade and Integrity; Kasner, who recently released a compendium of paintings, drawings, and photographs, is working on a debut solo album called Blood Fountains.
