The robot funk master, Beck, has finalized plans to release his latest disc, Modern Guilt, July 8th on DGC Records. For his follow-up to 2006’s critically acclaimed disc, The Information, Beck hit the studios with famed producer Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton to record all of Guilt‘s 10 tracks. Though last year’s Grammy-nominated, digital single “Timebomb” is absent from the disc, Guilt‘s orchestration has been rumored to border between eclectic experimentation and hybrid pop-classicism. In addition to the release, Beck has also announced a slue of US headlining dates and festival appearances to follow a brief European tour. The US dates will then climax with a large, hometown performance at The Hollywood Bowl on September 20th. For a complete list of Beck‘s upcoming appearances please see dates below.
