Walker comes from the same geographical location and practices in the same medium as Banksy, the street artist with an international reputation for disruption, however, Walker’s work is fits easily in the traditional framework of institutional art. He has been showing his work in galleries and museums since 198, and his work is often sold in editionable prints.
Walker says he aims to bring humor and irony to his art, and some “light relief” to the walls he adorns with his images. Though graffiti is traditionally a subversive art form, Walker has used his stenciling skills to a line of hats for Kangol, and his art has been featured in film like Hackers and Judge Dredd.
