Joining forces with DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist on the Hard Sell Tour is none other than fellow turntable virtuoso Kid Koala. Fresh off a worldwide gauntlet of CD launch parties for his latest album Your Mom’s Favorite DJ (Ninjatune 2006) , Kid Koala is set to contribute to eighteen dates on the North American Hard Sell tour.
The tour boast an extraordinary sets from DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist on eight turntables, 4 mixers, and 2 effects pedals. In addition, the two turntablist are slated to perform part three of the Brainfreeze and Product Placement sessions, a collaborative project spanning two albums. On hand for the New York shows are the notorious production duo Double Dee and Stienski.
As for Kid Koala… Following his run on the Hard Sell Tour he is headed to tour dates in France and Australia. Upon the completion of his tour it’s back to the studio to complete a graphic novel entitled the Mosquito Book and a project called The Slew.
