Marvel Comics artist turned Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada will make his second appearance on “The Colbert Report” this Tuesday, January 29. Quesada made his first appearance in July of 2006, baffling Colbert with news of Captain American not siding with the US government.
The 45-year-old editor became Marvel’s head honcho in 2000, ushering a new direction geared toward older readers for the company. In addition to breaking with the Comics Code Authority and featuring explicit content for the first time, Marvel has spent much of the last decade making radical and modernized changes to many of its staple characters.
Quesada’s appearance on “The Colbert Report” will air tomorrow at 11:30 pm ET on Comedy Central.
