In an effort to unveil new sonic directions, Danish noir-pop duo The Raveonettes will be releasing 4 EPs by the end of 2008.  The first one, out now, is free! and the only way to hear it is to download it from Vice Music.

Entitled Remixed, the first album has a remix of “Dead Sounds” by Japanese electro producer 80KIDZ, a version of “Aly, Walk With Me” by Nic Endo, and the song “Lust”, remixed by Danish DJ Trentemøeller.

All of the EPs will be available in digital format only, and the next one, called Sometimes They Drop By, is due on September 23.  Unlike Remixed, it will have all new songs and delving further into sampled beats and textures.

The other two albums will come out on October 21 and November 25.  The latter being a Christmas album that is done in a “modern nostalgic way”.
