North Carolina-based sludge/doom-metal five-piece band Sourvein recently signed to Candelight Records. Currently on tour, the group will soon release an EP entitled Imperial Bastard on September 30. As well, their label debut, produced by Billy Anderson, is set for release sometime in early 2009. The group recently relocated to Cafe Fear, North Carolina after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
