The offer will run for the duration of one year and will mail 7 ” singles every month to its subscribers, including music from The Notwist, Black Lips, Black Mountain, Arthur & Yu, Tyvek and many more. The resurgence of the Club will be in celebration of Sub Pop‘s 20th anniversary as an independent label. The first single – a pair of songs from Om – will be available beginning August 15th. Only 1,500 copies of each single each month will be pressed, so don’t wait to sign up.

Sub Pop doesn’t plan on stopping there, though, to celebrate 20 years of success. SP 20 Festival includes many more treats for fans in the Pacific Northwest. There will be an oral history of the label from founders Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman, a comedy show featuring David Cross and Patton Oswalt – plus others, a defacing of the Space Needle by professional artists, and an impressive showcasing of Sub Pop artists playing for free to benefit numerous charities. The acts will range from such veterans like Mudhoney and Green River to newer bands like Wolf Parade and Fleet Foxes. The festivities will kick off this Thursday (July 10th) in Seattle and will carry through Sunday evening. For more information, see the link posted below.
