Brooklyn minimalist math rockers Takka Takka have debuted their video for “Silence” off of their latest album, Migration (Ernest Jenning Recording Co.), in which the band is conquered by tiny soldiers, Gulliver’s Travels-style. Director Amy Finkel uses a stop-action techniques as the soldiers make their way over the actual bodies of the band’s members.
Blending African and folk genres with their indie rock, Takka Takka have made a big splash in Brooklyn’s underground rock scene, and are taking their show out on the road with their friends in Oxford Collapse.
