Having just wrapped up South By Southwest a few months ago, The Aggrolites are showing no signs of slowing down. For the remainder of the summer, you can catch the L.A. five-piece’s dirty and soul-infused reggae on the Vans Warped Tour. The 46-date tour will span across most of the U.S., as well as some dates in Canada too. For the next three months, they will be playing along such acts as Rise Against, Pennywise, Angels & Airwaves, The Vandals, and Paramore, among many others. On top of that, The Aggrolites have also managed to squeeze in a few non-Warped dates – Austin, Omaha, and Quebec City among them. Their song “Fast Bullet” will also be featured on this year’s Vans Warped Tour 2008 Compilation CD.
Elsewhere, The Aggrolites are looking to hit the big screen by being included on the soundtrack to Endless Bummer – a new teen surf comedy starring Matthew Lillard. They will show up twice on the tracklist – covering The Specials’ “Ghost Town” and Musical Youth’s “Pass the Dutchie.” Legendary Jamaican DJ General Smiley joins the group on the latter.
