Following the 2007 release of their latest, GRAMMY award-winning album We Are the Night, The Chemical Brothers will release a “Best Of” double disc compilation entitled Brotherhood on September 2. With a career spanning 13 years and nine million records sold, the group has become one of the most popular electronic and dance acts of all time.
The first disc on Brotherhood contains 13 singles from the group’s back catalog with one new song, “Keep My Composure,” featuring the flow of Spank Rock. The second disc will exclusively feature Electronic Battle Weapons 1-10. Electronic Battle Weapons acted as the battleground for The Chemical Brothers‘ musical experiments. Until recently, Electronic Battle Weapons 1-9 were only available in limited formats and this is the first time that they have been widely available to the public. The second disc will also include digital single “Midnight Madness,” derived from the 10th Electronic Battle Weapon.
