Indie-softcore outfit The Sea And Cake have announced the dates to their upcoming fall tour. Capitalizing off the success of last year’s Everybody, the tour will be in support of the band’s new album, Car Alarm, which is their eighth studio full-length. The album finds The Sea And Cake doing what they do best – crafting soft singalongs over languid guitars riffs, pulsing bass lines, and hypnotic drumbeats. Death vessel will be joining the band on the first leg of the tour, opening up all the shows on the east coast – as well as a pair of shows in Chicago. Labelmates Field Music will then take over on the second leg and open for the west coast shows. Car Alarm will hit stores via Thrill Jockey on October 21st.
