Windy City rockers Tub Ring are hitting the road, and they’re bringing Cincinnati bards of chaos Foxy Shazam with them. The tour will see both bands play sixteen dates with Karate High School and Peachcake.
Since releasing The Great Filter (The End Records) in 2007, Tub Ring has toured all over the United States, launched the Nightingale clothing line in conjunction with Apparition Industries, and is preparing for a performance at the Sundance Festival’s Music Meets Film event on January 23, 2008.
Tourmates Foxy Shazam held a CD release party for their second album, Introducing (Ferret), at the Mad Hatter in Covington, Kentucky on January 17. Following the release party, the band plays scattered shows before joining Tub Ring at Station 4 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Visit the band’s MySpace page for a full list of tour dates here.
