Built on Respect returns to India

Built on Respect founder Heidiminx returns to Dharamsala, India this September to continue her good work at the Tibet Hope Center. The organization currently helps Tibetan refugees learn the English language, computer skills, and sustainable business models.

Recently, Built on Respect began to sponsor a special evening class for monks who are not able to attend the regular day classes, and helped to prepare a new snack canteen that’s proceeds will benefit the center.

“This past trip had quite an impact on me.  I got to work with so many more people, and really learn so much more — about the Tibetan culture, about the political situations, and about the social issues.  Built on Respect was able to support a wide range of charities, and individuals.
This Fall, I want to continue that.  Just being in the community, meeting people – I am approached with so many opportunities and ways to help.”
