Rejoice, noise-punk fans. Arab on Radar, one of the most daring noise/no-wave acts of the 1990s, is back after an eight-year absence.
Having released four albums with highlights such as the polyrhythmic “5” and the brazen punk attitude of “Spitshine My Asshole,” the band broke apart, with its members moving on to The Chinese Stars, Made in Mexico, and Athletic Automaton.
Now reunited, Arab on Radar is working on a new record and will tour parts of North America this summer. A European tour in is also slated for 2011. The North American tour will feature blue uniforms, a variety of old and new songs alike, and gifts for audience members.
