Sharron Kraus: “Rejoice in Love” (The Woody Nightshade, Strange Attractors Audio House, 11/2/10)
This week, ALARM has the exclusive MP3 “Rejoice in Love” by British singer-songwriter Sharron Kraus. The song is from Kraus’ newest album, The Woody Nightshade. The song takes a dark folk tone and forgoes traditional folk instrumentation (fiddles, banjos, etc.) in favor of drums, electric guitar and bass.
Kraus has performed with Irish free-folk collective United Bible Studies and Trembling Bells’ Alex Neilson. She is also a member of Tau Emerald, a duo with Tara Burke (better known as Fursaxa) and Rusalnaia, a partnership with Ex-Reverie’s Gillian Chadwick.
