Experimental laptop musician and producer Steven Ellison, better known as Flying Lotus or “FlyLo,” will release a new EP, entitled Pattern+Grid World, on September 20, 2010 via Warp.
In May, Flying Lotus’ release Cosmogramma presented a dense but catchy musical space journey. Peppered with grand string and harp melodies, that electronic experience is more complicated than the clean, straightforward banger that is “Camera Day,” the makeshift single from Pattern+Grid World.
