Lloyd Miller is a noted ethnomusicologist and an incredibly gifted multi-instrumentalist, known for fusing traditional jazz with Persian and Asian influences. His recent collaboration with The Heliocentrics — s/t due August 3 via Strut — made our July 20 edition of This Week’s Best Albums.
