Polish electronic artist Igor Boxx is about to release a multi-layered mix of jazzy grooves and breakbeats via a concept album about the Soviet Red Army’s 1945 siege of Breslau, a city (now known as Wroclaw) many times devastated by the atrocities of war.  Boxx is also known as Igor Pudlo and is one half of Skalpel, an electro-jazz duo and veteran of the Ninja Tune roster.

Here’s the exclusive premiere of “Alarm,” the second cut from Breslau, Igor Boxx’s debut that’s out tomorrow on Ninja Tune.
