Soundgarden‘s recent reunion has given some much-needed credibility back to Chris Cornell‘s career, and if you saw the band in Chicago, you heard that he still has it (and Kim Thayil still shreds).
The band’s newest “greatest hits” compilation, entitled Telephantasm, is out on September 28 through A&M and features “Black Rain,” an unreleased B-side from the Badmotorfinger sessions.
The track is pretty solid. We’re hoping that some new songs materialize that aren’t a depressing cash-grab.
