ALARM has the exclusive premiere of Malian folk guitarist Sidi Touré‘s new video for “Artiatant,” a duet with Jiba Touré. The song will appear on Touré’s forthcoming album, Sahel Folk, out in January of 2011 on Thrill Jockey.
Like the music itself, the video is appropriately understated and bare-bones, conveying exactly what it needs to without a hint of pomp.
