Psych-folk band Akron/Family has announced the launch of Family Tree, a new record label inspired by mutable collectives like Sun Ra Arkestra, Grateful Dead, and Wu Tang Clan. The label’s first official release will be Bad Weather California‘s Sunkissed in 2012.
