January 19 marks the posthumous launch of legendary jazz poet/musician Gil Scott-Heron‘s memoir, The Last Holiday. Wilton’s Music Hall in East London will host a celebration that night, featuring musical tributes from DJs Jamie XX and Gilles Peterson as well as screenings of rare interviews and film footage of the poet. Tickets for the event go on sale on 1/5.
