Textured, ambient squeals give way to the track’s driving, pitter-patter beat and some “rat-a-tat-tat” scatting from vocalist Nigel Evan Dennis. As it progresses, sonic intensity fluctuates rapidly, and the aforementioned percussion and vocals transition into a more dense, post-rock-style ambience.
On the single, released this week on Mush, the original is paired with three remixes, from the likes of Spirituals, Houses, and Melting Season.
Geez, soundtrack my dreams why dontcha, A Lull. Dang.
