On the heels of its self-released, self-titled EP in 2010, Chicago psych-pop band Yawn just released a new video for the song “Toys.” The video was filmed in France, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands and the US. According to the director, Eli Stonberg, the idea was to depict a “lo-fi pinwheel story.” Though initially intended to be a short film, upon hearing “Toys,” Stonberg decided it was the perfect soundtrack for the visuals.
After ringing in the new year by opening for Girl Talk, Yawn is set release its first full-length in 2011, and is gearing up for a tour of the US and Europe.
