New York-based indie triumvirate Violens returns next week with True, the ’80s-flavored group’s full-length followup to Amoral. With True, the trio continues to evade easy classification, crafting a divine maelstrom of 30 years of sound.

“All Night Low,” the album’s eighth track, presents a punk-rock foundation for Violens’ layered harmonies and ghostly vocalizations. Its dreamlike, high-contrast video, directed by Alejandro Cardenas, contains the same pulsating darkness that fans know and love.
