South Bronx instrumental duo Wires Under Tension recently played at Brooklyn’s 285 Kent with post-rock instrumental quartet This Will Destroy You. In the video below, which features the two concluding tracks from the band’s 2011 debut Light Science (Western Vinyl, 3/8/11), you’ll see the stunning combination of classically trained violinist Christopher Tignor‘s work on strings, keys, and electronics, with Theo Metz providing the beats. Also joining the duo on harmonium is Lymbyc Systym‘s Jared Bell. What culminates in just over 10 minutes is electrifying. See for yourself below.
