Horror-score fans, your long wait is finally coming to an end. For the first time ever, Italian prog icons Goblin (famous for scoring horror classics such as Suspiria and Dawn of the Dead) are touring North America this October. Even better? They’re joined by the genre-defying Secret Chiefs 3, who paid tribute to Italy’s giallo movement with the 2010 album Le Mani Destre Recise Degli Ultimi Uomini.
To top that, Goblin then will culminate the tour with a stop at the Housecore Horror Film Festival, the film and music festival organized by Phil Anselmo of Pantera / Down and true-crime author Corey Mitchell. The inaugural iteration of the fest is set for October 25-27 in Austin, TX, where Goblin will perform twice, including a live scoring of Suspiria.
Along with usual members Claudio Simonetti and Maurizio Guarini on keyboards, the group also will include original member Massimo Morante on guitar, making this the most complete line up of modern-day Goblin.
