The London Burlesque Festival, a celebration of the art, humor, music, and beautiful people of modern burlesque, is gearing up for its seventh iteration. The festival runs from May 10-19 this year, and tickets are going fast.
Produced by Chaz Royal, one of the guiding lights behind the art form’s modern revival, this year’s festival features a few luminaries. Catherine D’Lish, one of the best-known dancers in the business, will be appearing alongside guest host Jim Rose, founder of the famous Jim Rose Circus. Attractions vary from a Hollywood revue, a dark and twisted cabaret, male-populated boylesk, and a circus that definitely isn’t for the kids.
