Boundary-pushing jazz drummer Steve Reid has passed away at the age of 66 after a battle with cancer. During his career, he has played with Miles Davis, Sun Ra, Fela Kuti, and James Brown, and most recently, he recorded a series of albums with Kieran Hebden (a.k.a. Four Tet).
