Meshuggah on dubstep and making listeners “cry in the shower”

Scion AV just posted a brand-new, three-and-a-half-minute edit of a video interview with Tomas Haake and Jens Kidman of Meshuggah. Go here or watch below to hear Haake mention the metallic qualities of dubstep and describe the intended response to the band’s live show: “‘No, no. We’re done. Get off the stage. I want to go home [and] take a shower. I want to cry in the shower.’ That’s how we want people to feel.”

And if you haven’t, be sure to pick up Koloss, the band’s latest, from Nuclear Blast.
