TV on the Radio joins Reggie Watts, Das Racist, Erykah Badu on Afropunk Fest 2012

Two weekends from now, the eighth annual Afropunk Festival reconvenes in Brooklyn to celebrate diversity in music and give a voice to those who feel like outsiders in their musical communities.

After missing 2011 due to Hurricane Irene, the fest is back with a bang, including the recent announcement of TV on the Radio as a headliner. The critically beloved group joins a slew of recording artists from across the spectrum, including Reggie Watts, Das Racist, Erykah Badu, Gym Class Heroes, Skindred, Janelle Monae, Spank Rock, and many more.

Held in Commodore Barry Park, the festivities (taking place August 25 and 26) are free to public. Go here for the full lineup.
