Furthering their success in the Fat, Bald, Wild & Rocking genre, Les Savvy Fav have released their first live album on Frenchkiss Records. The record properly documents their first performance at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom as well as their cover-filled encore (Nirvana, Pixies, Misfits). Cry Me A River: Photographs by Chris Eichenseer


Chris Eichenseer will be exhibiting some of his photographs at the Threadless Gallery in Chicago. The exhibition, Cry Me A River, is the first show of its kind by Chris in over eight years. He spends his time at Someoddpilot Design, one of our favorite indie design shops in Chicago, and is responsible for most of the good parts of PitchFork’s website.

Scott Rosenberg of P.A.F. fame brought together a motley crew of musicians to form Pink Mountain. What resulted was something no one could have expected: a sprawling twelve-song marriage of psych, prog, krautrock and freeform jazz that is fueled by a synergistic array of influences.

Chin Chin Announce West Coast Tour Dates, Album Release Party

Torbitt Schwartz (drums, vocals), Jeremy Wilms (guitar, vocals), and Wilder Zoby (vocals, keyboard) make up the Brooklyn-based Chin Chin. Their funky / disco / R&B / jazz Self-Titled release on Def Jux was released today. Chin Chin’s live performances often include up to to ten musicians.
