Since disbanding at the end of the ’90s, underground hip-hop favorite Company Flow has had fans clamoring for more. Now, following a few one-off reunion gigs, El-P, Bigg Jus, and Mr. Len are hitting Chicago for the first time, and we’re giving away two tickets to a random ALARM reader.
English producer Chris Clark — otherwise simply known as Clark — is known for his colossal electronic compositions, more of which you can hear on his newest installment, Iradelphic. His unsettling video for “Black Stone,” however, showcases the album’s diversity.
Last month, Louisville-based hardcore super-group Black God (featuring members of Coliseum and Black Cross, among others) released its second EP, II. Atlanta’s Mastodon took its melodic sludge metal across the pond this past winter with Red Fang and The Dillinger Escape Plan. Along the way, it sold out London’s Brixton Academy to make it the largest UK headlining show in the band’s touring history.
