About William Elliot Whitmore:
Rooted in the Iowa land his family has lived on for generations, this husky-voiced banjo troubadour approaches music the soulful way his forebears might have, but through the lens of having grown up on hip hop and punk. This combination along with a unique charisma, has resulted in Whitmore’s riveting and timeless appeal.
Whitmore’s 2009 release, Animals in the Dark (Anti-), charted on Billboard’s Heatseakers Chart.
