Grizzly Bear and LA Philharmonic Set March Performance

gbear_small.jpgGrizzly Bear are no strangers to playing to larger audiences. The Brooklyn-based band recently played a show for the Wordless Music Series in New York and is scheduled to play with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra this spring.

Both shows feature groups from seemingly different places on the musical spectrum in an effort to bridge the gap between “genres and generations.”

Reverend Organdrum: Hi-Fi Stereo

The album trades in the psychobilly sounds of Heath’s alter-ego for famous roots, blues, and lounge tunes, reconstructed with guitar, Hammond organ, and drums.
